I have been carving since 1979 — portraits and figures, wildlife, relief panels, and pieces made to order. I work from my shop in London, Ontario.
On the bench now
A monument for London’s Black pioneers
For London’s bicentennial I am carving a tribute to six people who shaped the city: James and Christina Jenkins, who founded the Black newspaper the Dawn of Tomorrow in 1923; the Olympic basketball player Barry Howson; the ballplayer Stan “Gabby” Anderson; the athlete Harry Corsi; and and Kay Livingstone. It is to be installed at the newly renovated Silverwoods Community Centre.
